Welcome to the reboot of CypherB1t Records' website. With this new launch we're hoping to sign new artists to the label and get the music out to the masses. We're all about the music and the art. We don't believe in exploiting others hard work for quick cash. You worked hard on your music and we'll work hard for you in getting it out there. You'll find that our contracts are more than fair and balanced and geared toward the ultimate benefit of the art and artist. We're a label and producer that focuses on electronic music of all subgenres. Dubstep, Trance, Drum and Bass, Downtempo, Hardstyle, Ambient are some of the many flavors that we cater to.

Philosophy

We believe in the art for the sake of art. Our goal when producing an artist's album is to get the proceeds into the hands of the artist as quickly as possible. This is done with a graduated fee for manufacturing and design services, marketing and distribution both physically and to major online stores.

You as the artist will maintain the ultimate copyright to your work. When you are signed with CypherB1t, you enter into a distribution and representation contract, whereby you license the rights to distribute, use and sell your work, but you DO NOT give up your copyright. You are able to rescind this agreement at any time.

Because of this philosophy, there is extra scrutiny when signing artists to the label. However, once signed, you pay nothing out of pocket. The cost of manufacturing and distribution is recouped in initial sales via a percentage of revenues. After our fees and costs are recouped then we only keep a much smaller percentage of sales for as long as you're contracted with us.

We also will not hold your work EXCLUSIVE. You are free to sell your own CDs at events, local stores, even out of the back of your car (yes, even that!) or give away your tracks online as you like.
